As we all should know by now, casuals up and down the country are starting to favour ski wear and "all weather" labels, mainly for the price and quality of the items. One Swedish brand in particular "Fjall Raven" (meaning in its native launguage, "arctic fox") has become extremely popular with dressers from all corners of Britain. Originally started in the 1960's, Fjall Raven prides itself on its durable fabric which is water, wind and dirt repellent. The pricing on the items is affordable and the designs simple and practical.
The above jackets are in my opinion three most talked about pieces of outerwear for the past few months. Fjall Raven's Telemark, Nodli and Greenland (from left to right).
Fjall Raven's new range of jackets include the winter version of the Nordli and my latest purchase, the Gutulia Anorak, proveing that Fjall Raven is going from strength to strength. A top quality smock, perfect for standing on the terraces on a cold tuesday night (we have all been there).
One word of advice that may come in handy when ordering a jacket from Fjall Raven. Previous to ordering my Gutulia, I was advised to buy a size smaller than my original size. Turned out to be a great bit of advice and the jacket fits like a glove.
